April 18, 2015

I finally found a solution to the large file problem I've been plagued with for the last few months. I found a good "cloud storage" solution, so I've moved all the Raw Tapes to the cloud. Both FLAC and MP3 files for all the Raw Tapes are now available. If you are new to FLAC, it is a lossless compressed WAV file. You can either play it directly with Winamp, or decompress it back to the original WAV file without any loss of sound quality. The encode/decode program can be found here. I'll move the production files (both FLAC and MP3) to the cloud soon.

January 10, 2015

We will be moving from WAV files to FLAC files. FLAC files are compressed WAV files (lossless) that can be easily expanded back to WAV files. We will add a few for now and see how the web host handles the file capacity. We may have them up for newly added files for a limited time, so if you see a FLAC file you want, get it now!

November 24, 2014

For the time being, all WAV files have been removed from the site. They were taking up way too much room. Many GB of files! The web hosting company was not amused, so for now I have removed them. What I will do in the future is put them back on the site for NEWLY added files and only have them there for a short while. I just want the dust to settle for now and add them back slowly. Otherwise this site will cease to exist. So please bear with me. Thanks!
